President Trump hopes to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in the coming weeks. Trump met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe [[ SHEEN-zoe AH-bay ]] yesterday, and said he wants to see a peaceful, nuclear-free Korean Peninsula. He warned, however, that he would leave the meeting if it's not fruitful.        Police in Pittsburgh are preparing for protests and riots should President Trump fire Special Counsel Robert Mueller. City officials say they received information of a potentially large-scale protest that would take place downtown and could happen within 24 hours of Mueller being fired. Mueller is heading up the investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign leading up to the 2016 election.        The president of a California college is apologizing for a professor's comments about Barbara Bush. Fresno State President Joseph Castro says Professor Randa Jarrar's personal view runs contrary to the university's core values of mutual understanding and progress. Jarrar posted on Twitter that the former First Lady, who died Tuesday, was a racist, and that she's happy that George W. Bush is probably really sad right now. Jarrar's Twitter account was later made private.        Three men are convicted of plotting to bomb a mosque and an apartment complex for Somali refugees in Kansas. A federal jury yesterday found Gavin Wright, Curtis Allen and Patrick Stein guilty of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction and conspiracy against civil rights Sentencing for the conspirators is set for June 27th.       Western Oklahoma is still dealing with raging wildfires. More than 45 homes have been damaged or destroyed by the Rhea fire in Dewey County, which has scorched over 280-thousand acres. The 34 Complex wildfire in Woodward County has burned nearly 70-thousand acres. Two people have died in the Oklahoma wildfires.       LeBron James lived up to his reputation as "The King" during last night's NBA playoff action. James scored the first 16 points of the Cavaliers' 100-97 Game Two win over the Pacers in Cleveland and finished with 46. He added 12 rebounds and five assists as James refused to let Cleveland fall behind 2-0 in the best-of-seven first round series. Three playoff games are scheduled for tonight.
