President Trump says it's possible the nuclear summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un will still take place hours after calling it off. Speaking at the White House today, Trump said the dialogue with North Korea was good "until recently." He did not elaborate. Trump said there is still a great opportunity to strike a deal on denuclearization with the North.        Secretary of State Mike Pompeo [[ pom-PAY-oh ]] says the U.S. will continue to work to denuclearize North Korea. In a Senate hearing today, Pompeo said it must be a transparent effort and fully verifiable. Pompeo's remarks followed Trump's withdrawal from his June 12th summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. .        The Trump administration will soon brief a bipartisan group of lawmakers on a confidential source in the Russia investigation. That'll come after a briefing for the Republican chairmen of the House Intelligence and Oversight committees. The bipartisan briefing comes after Democrats complained the White House was politicizing intelligence by offering the briefing only to GOP chairmen Devin Nunes [[ NOO-ness ]] and Trey Gowdy.        The Milwaukee Police Chief is punishing the officers involved in the January arrest of Milwaukee Bucks player Sterling Brown. Chief Alfonso Morales said that some officers involved acted inappropriately and the "Journal Sentinel" reports the officer who first confronted Brown was suspended for two days and the two supervisors who later arrived were suspended for 10 and 15 days. Body camera video shows the officers throwing the NBA player to the pavement and using a Taser on him over a parking violation.        Actor Morgan Freeman is facing sexual harassment allegations. CNN reports that eight women have come forward about Freeman's inappropriate behavior while working on his movies. A former production assistant tells the network that Freeman repeatedly asked her to lift up her skirt and made comments about her figure in 2015 during filming of "Going In Style." She adds that co-star Alan Arkin saw it happening and told Freeman to stop.        A 14-year-old girl is about to get a college diploma. NBC Connecticut reports that Aurora Dziadul [[ JETT-ul ]] will pick up an associate degree from Quinebaug Valley Community College in Danielson today. She says she plans on having her bachelors before she's old enough to drive. Dziadul will be the commencement speaker with a three-point-nine-eight GPA.
