Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi [[ ka-SHO-gi ]] is dead. Today, Saudi Arabian officials said they finished an investigation into the missing journalist and concluded that he died when a fight broke out between Khashoggi and people who met him in the Saudi consulate in Turkey. It said five top officials have been fired and 18 people have been arrested.       Alaska Governor Bill Walker is throwing in the towel for his re-election campaign. With just a few weeks left before the election, Walker says it's clear he can't win. Instead, he is endorsing Democrat Mark Begich over Republican Mike Dunleavy.        The President is telling immigrants who want to come to America to stay put. Today in Arizona, Trump said he's committed to deploying the military to the southern border if it comes down to it. He also slammed Democrats for allowing weak immigration laws to persist.        In a few hours, a lucky person may be a billion dollars richer. Tonight is a drawing for the Mega Millions jackpot which is worth one-billion dollars. Lottery officials announced the increase today, saying it's the largest jackpot in the game's history and second largest in U.S. lottery history.       A Russian woman is being charged with interfering in the upcoming U.S. midterm elections through social media. The Justice Department is charging Elena Khusyaynova [[ kush-yah-NOVA ]]. The indictment is not related to Special Counsel Robert Mueller's [[ MULL-ers ]] investigation of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.        A New York City engagement photoshoot is being photobombed by Comedian Amy Schumer. The Rockville Centre native, along with her husband Chris Fischer, photobombed pictures of Jillian Georgio and her fiance Greg Hayes in Central Park this week. The happy bride-to-be didn't seem to be upset, even sharing the photos on her Instagram account.
